About Fewer
Fewer is a paid job-search service. An AI reads every posting on the careers pages you choose, checks each requirement against your background line by line, and keeps only the few roles worth your time. It never applies for you.
Who makes it
Fewer is made and run by one person, Thomas, and opened in September 2026. When you write to info@fewerroles.com, he reads it and answers. There is no sales team and no ticket queue.
Why it exists
Job boards are built for volume: a search returns hundreds of postings and leaves the reading to you. Fewer is built for the opposite. It reads everything on the pages you name, keeps almost nothing, and shows its reasons for every posting it throws out, so you can correct it in a sentence.
How it is built
Fewer reads public careers pages and the public feeds of twenty-six job systems, from Greenhouse and Workday to Gupy and Jobbnorge. The reading and the scoring are done by Claude, the AI model made by Anthropic, against a rulebook written in plain sentences that you can see and change. The service runs on a single server at Fly.io in the United States; Stripe handles card payments, so Fewer never sees your card; Resend delivers the email.

What it never does
- It never applies for you, and never contacts a company on your behalf.
- It never invents a requirement that is not in the posting, and never scores a posting it did not read in full.
- It never hides what it threw out: every discard is on your Results with the line that failed it.
- It never sells your data or shares it with advertisers.
