Terms of service

Last updated 20 September 2026. Plain words, on purpose. A lawyer has not reviewed this yet.

What Fewer is

Fewer is a subscription service that reads job postings on the careers pages you choose, checks them against the background and rules you give it, and sends you a short brief of the ones that fit. It is a reading and sorting tool. It does not apply for jobs, contact employers, or promise you any outcome.

The AI can be wrong

The fit scores, the requirement checks and the reasoning are produced by an AI model. It reads carefully, but it can misread a posting, miss a role, or reject one it should have kept. That is why every rejection is shown with its reason and why you can correct it. Treat the brief as a well-informed starting point, and read the posting yourself before you act on it.

Coverage

Fewer reads the boards it can reach. Some careers pages block automated readers, change without notice, or list roles somewhere we do not look. Those are named on your Roster page as not reached. We do not guarantee that every open role at a company appears in your brief. Roles are limited to the United States for now.

Payment and cancellation

Your account

Ending the service

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. We may change or discontinue the service; if we discontinue it, you will get notice, a way to export your data, and a refund of any prepaid time.

Liability

Fewer is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for a missed role, a wrong score, a page we could not read, or any decision you make based on the brief. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the claim.

Privacy

How we handle your data is in the privacy page, which is part of these terms.
